Barbara Ann Lucas, age 59 of Leitchfield, died Sunday, September 23, 2007 in Louisville, Ky.

She was born January 9, 1948. She was a housewife and a member of Clarkson Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Charles Lucas; three daughters, Syrene Clemons of Clarkson, Ky., Pat Booth of Louisville, and Sandy Lucas of West Point, Ky.; five sons, Richard and Gary Williams, both of Leitchfield, Joey Williams of South Bend, IN, Curtis E. Lucas of Leitchfield, and Randall Lucas of Louisville; one brother, Buddy Valentine of Texas; five sisters, Deloris Valentine, Cathy Loper and Linda Rock, all of Louisville, Janet Nelson of TN, and Jeanie Wease of Upton, Ky.

She is also survived by 41 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dalton D. and Catherine Davis Valentine; two grandsons, Dawson Clemons and Jamie Williams; and two granddaughters, Shahalie Williams and Savannah Williams.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday, September 26, 2007 at the Watkins-Oller Funeral Home, in Clarkson, with Bro. Chester Shartzer and Bro. Tim Gauge officiating.

Burial was in the Holly Cemetery.
