A meth lab was discovered and destroyed in Grayson County on Wednesday September 19th.
According to a report from the Greater Hardin County Narcotics Unit, two Grayson County residents were arrested and charged with manufacturing methamphetamine and cultivating marijuana.
Rodney L. Tomes, 26 and Christina Probus, 26, both of 612 Black Rock Road, in Leitchfield, were arrested in the early hours of September 19th after a meth lab was found on the property.
The meth lab was discovered though an ongoing investigation, said officer Todd Cave of the Greater Hardin County Narcotics Unit.
Also in the home were two minor children, a six-month-old baby and six-year female. Both children were taken into the custody of Grayson County Social Services, added Cave.
Tomes and Probus were charged with possession of marijuana, cultivation of marijuana, use and possession of drug paraphernalia and manufacturing methamphetamine.
The investigation is ongoing and more charges are pending. More arrests are possibly forthcoming as well, reported Cave.
Probus and Tomes are currently being held at the Grayson County Detention Center and Jail on a $25,000 cash bond each.
Grayson County Sheriff's deputies assisted with the transportation of the suspects.
