For a too hot, too dry year, the fair brought temperatures in the upper 80s, something most of us couldn't remember. And there was a shower near opening day.
Some called this rain a storm, but if it was it was a mild one. It's just that nobody can remember what a real storm's like. Besides, it always rains at least once on the Grayson County Fair, so it shouldn't have been a surprise.
What happened last year was a storm. Or, was it two years ago? The fairs seem to melt into each other after a while
