Dawson Clemons, age 7, of Clarkson, Ky., died August 17, 2007 in Clarkson.

He was born February 9, 2000. He was a student at Clarkson Elementary School.

He is survived by his parents, Billy Joe and Syrene Williams Clemons of Clarkson; two brothers, Morgan and Devan Clemons of Clarkson; grandfather, William Lee Clemons of Clarkson; maternal grandparents, Barbara and Charles Lucas of Leitchfield; great-grandmother, Viva Williams; aunts and uncles, Ann and Jason Decker of Clarkson, Jr., and Lee and Bruce Higdon of Clarkson; uncle and aunt, Jr. and Stephanie Clemons of Leitchfield; uncles, Tony Clemons of Clarkson, Richard and Gary Williams, and Joey Williams; and several cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Loretta Clemons; and his grandfather, Richard Williams Sr.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, August 22, 2007 at Antioch Baptist Church with Bro. Wayne Clemons and Bro. Tim Gage officiating.

Burial was in the St. Anthony Cemetery.

Rogers-Oller Funeral Home, in Clarkson, was in charge of the arrangements.
