The location of the fair will be the Grayson County Agriculture & Recreational Park, off HWY 259 South near the airport.
The fair will begin at 5 pm on Thursday with 4-H and family living projects being entered in the many different categories like sewing, canning, gardening and field crops.
At 6:30 pm the Future Farmers of America will have games, a tractor driving contest and other fun events.
The exhibits will be judged with first, second and third place awarded in each category, as well as a grand champion presented in each category.
All blue ribbon winners that meet state fair requirements will be eligible to sign up and enter the state fair with no entry fee.
Friday night there will be an All Game Horse show that starts at 7 pm. Riders young and old can complete in the timed events of barrels, poles and flags.The gates will open Saturday morning at 10 am for the Western Pleasure and Gaited horse show. There will be 17 different completion classes for all entries.
An open cattle show will start at 1 pm, with classes open to Angus, Brangus, Charolism Herefords, Polled Herefords,Shorthorns, Zebu Crosses and other breeds.The Cattle Show is sponsored by the Grayson County Cattleman and Escue Wood Preserving.
Gates will open on Sunday at 1 pm with entries from Family Living, FFA and 4-H available for pick up at this time.
The goats and lambs will weigh in for the goat show. The show will begin at 3 pm with Showmanship classes for senior youth ages 14 to 19, intermediate youth ages 12 to 13, junior youth ages 9-11, novice (a) all youth six and under and novice (b) all youth seven and eight.
Goats will show in class by weight and no more than ten goats per class. There will be ten ribbons and money awards per class.
The lamb show will be hosted in the same manner as the goat show.
The officers and representatives wish to express sincere appreciation to the sponsors and advertisers for their support and participation in the 13th Annual Agriculture Fair.
The fair is planned and conducted according to the rules and regulations of the Kentucky Department of Agriculture for the use of state funds.
