Walker Chiropractic was the title sponsor with K105 radio station promoting the fireworks display and Ice Cream Festival.
Leitchfield Fire Department hosted a pancake breakfast that began at 5 am on Saturday morning. All proceeds from the breakfast will go to the WHAS Crusade for Children.
The festival started in the square as an ice cream social about 16 years ago and after the fourth or fifth year was moved to the Grayson County Middle School to allow for the fireworks and Summer Splash to be included in the event.
“This was the ninth year for the fireworks,” said Buckles.
The Looney Tunes fireworks display began around 9 pm with the most sophisticated sound track that has been used, added Buckles.
Bethany Lucas was crowned the 10th Ice cream Festival Queen.
