CENTRAL CITY - The Central City Youth Athletic League will be hosting three tournaments in July, for softball, Little League and for a Rookie League, machine-pitched tournament.

An ASA fast-pitch softball tournament kicks things off on Friday and Saturday, July 13 & 14. This will be for girls in four age brackets: 8 & under, 10 & under, 12 & under and 14 & under. The two youngest groups will hit off a pitching machine, while the two older groups will be player-pitched.

The second tournament will be a Rookie League Tournament the week of July 16 for 8 & under baseball teams. Trophies for the winners and the runners-up will be awarded in this machine-pitched tournament.

Finally, a Little League baseball tournament will be held the week of July 23. The double-elimination tournament will be for teams of 9 & 10-year-olds, and for 11 & 12-year-olds. Again, trophies for the winners and the runners-up will be presented.
