He was born on February 21, 1941, in Grayson County, the son of Stanley and Gladys Carter Dennison. He was retired from Bel Cheese, and also was a farmer.
He is survived by his wife, Anne Taylor Dennison of Leitchfield; three children, Doug (Tracy) Dennison, Jeff Dennison and Christy Lea, all of Leitchfield; his parents; Stanley and Gladys Dennison of Leitchfield; three sisters, JoAnn (Earl Ray) Probus of Louisville, Ky., Dorothy (Clinton) Armstrong and Donna (David) Wooden, both of Leitchfield; two brothers, JW (Patsy) Dennison and Steve (Kathy) Dennison, both of Leitchfield; five grandchildren, Brett, Jessie and Emily Dennison, Elizabeth Pirone and Lindsay Grant; three great-grandchildren, Aiden, Austin and Ava Pearl.
A private graveside service was held by the family.
The Dermitt Funeral Home, in Leitchfield, was in charge of the arrangements.
