He was born January 18, 1922 in Grayson County, the son of Boone and Cynthia Woosley. He was a bulldozer operator and WWII Veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Hettie Woosley of Owensboro; one daughter, Rita (Don) Taylor of Owensboro; one son, Alvin (Missy) Woosley of Leitchfield; one brother, Rodney Woosley of Clarkson, Ky.; and five grandchildren, Cessili, Devin, Crystal, Cynthia, and Wynston.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services were held Monday, June 25, 2007 at Watson & Hunt Funeral Chapel.
Burial was in Fairview Cemetery.
