She was born January 12, 1956 in Breckinridge County, Ky., the daughter of Raymond and Gladys Lyon-Allen.
She is survived by her daughter, Melita Shuler of Bloomfield; six grandchildren, K.G. and Elizabeth Lucas, Ashton Shuler, Brittany and Christina Ledsol, and Teajh Parsons; her fiance Louis Miller of Leitchfield; three brothers, Larry Allen of Locust Hill, Ky, Carol and Terry Allen, both of Cecilia, Ky.; one sister, Brenda Sadler of Constantine, Ky.; three half sisters, Anneta Hines of Boston, Ky., Lorene Allen and Roxie Jaggers, both of Bee Spring; Ky., and one half brother, Charles Allen of Louisville, Ky.
She was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Paige and Alexis, and one half sister, Florine Allen.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, June 12, 2007 at the Watson & Hunt Funeral Chapel in Leitchfield.
Burial was in the Hazelwood Cemetery.
