The eighth-grade Lady Cougar basketball team won an invitational tournament this past weekend at Bowling Green Middle School

In pool play, Grayson County defeated Franklin Simpson 33-17 before losing to Metcalfe County 33-26. In the medal round, they beat host Bowling Green 29-24, then beat Metcalfe County 25-19 in the rematch final.
