She was born April 19, 1912 in Grayson County, the daughter of I O and Mary Kebbel Young. She was a housewife.
She is survived by one son, Lester (Peggy) Morris of LaFayette, Georgia; one daughter, Shelba Jean Cummings of Bowling Green, Ky.; three grandchildren, Scott and Barry Cummings of Bowling Green and Kristi McKeehan of Athens, TN; three great-grandchildren, Tanner, Chloe, and Parker; and two step-great-grandchildren, Darrell and Leann.
Funeral services were held Monday, November 6, 2006 at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Caneyville with Rev. Winford Marteen and Rev. Mark Hale officiating.
Burial was in the New Hope Cemetery.
