Golfers win four-way match at Shady Hollow

The Cougar golf teams traveled to the Shady Hollow Golf Course, in Edmonson County, for a four-way match with Caverna, Edmonson and Hart Counties.

The Cougar men won their match as four players shot identical scores of 40 for a 160 total: senior Kyle Skaggs, junior Blake Collins, and freshmen Grant Collins and T. J. Wood. Edmonson County was second with a 168, while Hart County was third (178) and Caverna fourth (183).

The Lady Cougars brought 10 golfers to the match, but Edmonson County had the only other female golfer. Paige Higdon had the low round for Grayson County with a 53. Beth Schultz had a 54 and Tessa Nelson shot 56.
