He was born March 8, 1917. He was a member and Deacon of Clarkson Baptist Church, Master Sergeant with 23 years in the Army and retired from Fort Knox as a Gold Vault Guard.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Elmore Booth; and his parents, James Oscar and Allie Lee Clark Booth.
He is survived by his daughter, Deborah Booth of Manhattan, NY.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, September 5, 2006 at Rogers-Oller Funeral Home with Bro. Arland Benningfield and Bro. Art Hatfield officiating.
Burial was in the Anneta Cemetery.
