LPD arrests new suspect in C-H generator thefts

Leitchfield Police have nabbed another suspect in their continuing investigation of the March 2006 theft of a tractor-trailer full of generators from Campbell Hausfeld in Leitchfield.

According to Detective Todd Cave with the Leitchfield Police Department, the arrest was made on Friday, August 11. Police arrested Darrel Keith Joyner, of 597 Sunfish Sunny Point Road, Huff, Ky.

Cave reported that Joyner was charged with two counts of theft by unlawful taking, over $300.

As of Thursday morning (Aug. 17), Cave said that the investigation remains ongoing and more arrests are expected.
