According to the GCSO, on July 29 Grayson County Dispatch advised authorities about the possible location of a stolen vehicle out of Florida.
Chief Deputy Bryan Hammons said that Sheriff David Simon, Detective Terry Blanton and himself then responded to the area of Lakeview Circle around Nolin Lake.
The vehicle had reportedly been spotted at a residence belonging to Jerry Hardin, 293 Lakeview Circle.
According to Hammons, Simon and Blanton had spotted a vehicle meeting the description of the stolen vehicle sitting at a different location on Lakeview Circle.
They also had noticed a a male subject walking down Lakeview Circle at the same time, Hammons said.
After the Sheriff's Department checked the vin number on the vehicle they found, they confirmed that it was indeed the vehicle they were looking for.
Witnesses in the area reported that they had seen (Jerry) Hardin and a Deborah Williams driving the vehicle in the area and that it had been parked at 293 Lakeview Circle prior to July 29.
Felony warrants were then issued for both Hardin and Williams for receiving stolen property, over $300.
Hammons said that Hardin and Williams had been spotted inside the residence at 293 Lakeview Circle, but refused to answer the door.
Clarkson Police Officer Jeff King and the several Kentucky State Police units also responded to assist in serving the warrants, Hammons reported.
Hardin and Williams were found hiding in the basement and were arrested without incident.
Both subjects were also charged with receiving stolen property, under $300, for a stolen Kentucky license plate that was on the stolen vehicle.
