He was born September 17, 1929 in Louisville, Ky., the son of Alton and Lena Anderson Weedman. He was a member of the Broadway Missionary Baptist Church.
He is survived by four sisters, Katy Cook of Caneyville, Ky., Odean Wheeler of Louisville, Ky., Erma Spencer of Hodgenville, Ky., and Wilma Whitehead of Leitchfield; three brothers, Elton and Howard Weedman, both of Louisville, and Henry Weedman of Caneyville. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Marvin Weedman.
Funeral services were held Saturday, July 29, 2006 at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield with Bro. Jerry Weedman officiating.
Burial was in the Layman Memorial Cemetery.
