According to Blanton, the First Apostolic Church, located at 7575 Beaver Dam Road, Millwood, was broken into during the early morning hours of Tuesday, April 11.
Blanton Thursday morning (Apr. 13) said that whoever broke into the church gained entry to the building after they broke out a side window.
Blanton said a computer belonging to the church and an undisclosed amount of money collected from the weekly offerings was stolen.
Investigation into the thefts is ongoing. Blanton strongly encouraged anyone with information to call the Sheriff's Department at 259-3024.
