Hudson man dies in wreck

A Hudson man was killed in a one-vehicle accident early Saturday morning (Apr. 8).

According to the Kentucky State Police, a vehicle being driven by James R. Wineka, 41, of Hudson, was traveling westbound on Ky. 84 (about 2 miles east of Hudson) when he reportedly ran off the right side of the road, jumped a driveway and struck a tree.

The KSP reported that Wineka was pronounced dead at the scene by the Breckinridge County Coroner's Office. The accident occurred just after midnight.
