The Grayson County Sheriff's Department has made two more arrests in connection with the manufacturing of meth.

Detective Terry Blanton with the GCSO reported Tuesday morning (Jan. 24) the arrests of William David Saltsman, 33, and Monica Ramsey, 30, both of Thomas Street in Leitchfield.

Blanton said the two were arrested after an investigation conducted by members of the sheriff's department.

According to Blanton, the pair was arrested at a Hornback Road residence on January 20 and deputies reportedly found “numerous ingredients and equipment used to make meth in a vehicle being used by the couple.”

Upon the execution of a search warrant, Blanton said, sheriff's deputies also found other items used in the manufacturing process in the couple's residence.

They were both charged with manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of a controlled substance (meth) and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Saltsman also had outstanding warrants from Warren County, where he is wanted on drug charges, Blanton said. Both Saltsman and Ramsey were lodged in the Grayson County Detention Center.
