The Grayson County Sheriff's Department has made two arrests in connection to a stolen truck and the burglarizing of several homes in the Fentress Lookout area.

According to Detective Terry Blanton with the GCSO, Rennie Lee Peck, 31, address unknown, was arrested and charged with receiving stolen property (over $300) on September 7 for a stolen 1997 Ford Ranger pickup truck that was recovered on Autumn Ridge Road.

"Through the course of the investigation it was also discovered," Blanton said, "that the license plate on the truck was also stolen."

Blanton also reported Tuesday (Sept. 13) that two days after the arrest of Peck, he was taking another burglary report on Muskee Road and as he was taking the description of the suspects he noted that the description he was given matched Peck.

"After taking the report, I knew who I was looking for," Blanton said.

Blanton said he located Peck and Angela Shipley, 31, address also unknown, in a cabin at Lot 3 and 4 of Fentress Lookout, "watching stolen Jerry Springer movies, eating the homeowner's food, and pretty much making themselves at home."

According to Blanton, the videos came from a cabin at Lot 16 of Fentress Lane, belonging to Shirley Louise McGuire, of Louisville, which Peck and Shipley also allegedly burglarized in the same way after ripping a padlock off her door to gain entry to the cabin.

Both Peck and Shipley were charged with burglary in the third degree in connection to the cabin thefts and they remain suspects in the burglary on Muskee road, Blanton said.

Blanton also reported that Peck and Shipley are also wanted on felony charges in Breckinridge County.
