The discovery of a clandestine meth lab on Nina Lane near Nolin Lake has resulted in five more arrests for manufacturing meth.

According to the Kentucky State Police, Troopers Charlie Miller and Seth Payne Saturday (Sept. 3) responded to the Nina Lane residence in an attempt to serve warrants on Patrick M. Kelly, 37, of Cox's Creek and to investigate a meth lab complaint at the same location.

Upon arrival, the KSP reported, Troopers detected a strong odor of ether and heard noises that they "believed to be the suspects destroying evidence inside the residence."

Troopers then reportedly entered the residence to attempt to locate and arrest Kelly, stop the destruction of evidence and check the welfare of the residents.

After entering the home police reportedly found items used to manufacture methamphetamine and after obtaining a search warrant arrested five people for manufacturing meth.

According to reports, Laura D. Sadler, 40, of Elizabethtown, Lena J. Fox, 32, of Cox's Creek, Charles W. Bell, 40, of Brooks, Timothy R. Riggs, 32, of Elizabethtown, and Patrick Kelly were all arrested and charged with manufacturing methamphetamine and tampering with physical evidence.

All five were lodged in the Grayson County Detention Center and are each being held on a $25,ooo cash bond.

KSP officers were assisted in the investigation and resulting arrests by the Hardin County Narcotics Task Force and the Grayson County Sheriff's Department.
