He was born November 20, 1955 in Auburn, Ky., the son of James Cecil and Nina Fay Johns Belcher.
He was a machine operator for Sofanou in Morgantown, Ky., and was a member of the Antioch Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife, JoAnne Ferguson Belcher; one son, Christopher Belcher of Millwood; his parents, Cecil and Nina Fay Belcher of Kinston, Tenn.; two brothers, Jimmy of Clute, Texas and Lewis Belcher of Griffith, Ind.; one sister, Caroline Sexton of Selma, Ala.; 10 nephews and nieces, and nine great-nephews and nieces.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, February 23, 2005 at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Caneyville with Steve Slaughter officiating.
Burial was in the Christian Home Cemetery.
