He was born in Leitchfield, the son of Ed and Lillie Collins. He was an Electrician.
He is survived by his wife Roberta Collins of Plant City, Fla., two sons, Wayne Collins of Ky., and Gary Collins of Lithia, Fla.; three daughters, Debbie Collins of Ky., Sandra Souza of Pierce, Fla., and Sherry Holden of Lakeland, Fla.; one sister, Frediah Wade of Leitchfield. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, H. D., Milburn, and Junior Collins.
Funeral services were held at Hopewell Funeral Home in Plant City, Fla.
