Registration for Kindergarten, Preschool, and Head Start for the Grayson County School System will be held on Thursday, March 25, 2004, at the four elementary schools in the county. Caneyville Elementary will hold registration from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m., and the remaining three schools - Clarkson, Wilkey, and Lawler - will register students from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. A Preschool Social will be held at 6:00 PM during registration at each elementary school for those parents who desire additional information on the preschool program.
All children will be required to have the following information on file with their counselor for school entry on or before the first day of school:
Copy of legal birth certificate from Frankfort
A Kentucky Certificate of Immunization
Copy of Child's Social Security card
Medical examination within 6 months prior to admission
Eye examination by an optometrist or an ophthalmologist
You are encourage to register if your child will be three or four years old during the 2004-2005 school year. Please call your school counselor to schedule an appointment if you cannot attend on this date. For more information, call 259-4011.
