Mattinglys to celebrate 50th anniversary

Leonard and Alma Mattingly will be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday, March 6, 2004. The celebration will be at the Church of Joy, located off Highway 62 near the Grayson County High School. The celebration is from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Family and friends are invited.

Maci Meredith

Maci Meredith celebrated her fourth birthday on February 29, 2004 with her family and friends.

Her proud parents are Jerry and Becky Meredith.

Her grandparents are Coy and Birdie Meredith, Ronnie and Belva Kerr, and the late Lenard Logsdon. She has an older brother, Jarrett. We love you Princess.

Wedding

Thornton-Cannon to wed

Bonnie and Roger Priddy and Debbie and Greg Thornton, announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Carrie Thornton to Michael Cannon, son of Harry and Rita Cannon of Millwood.

Carrie is the granddaughter of Joyce Dennis of Leitchfield and Roxiey Thornton of Oklahoma City. She is a 1996 graduate of Grayson County High School and a 2003 graduate of Murray State University.

Michael is the grandson of Anna Williams of Leitchfield and Lois Brown of Hardinsburg. He is a 1996 graduate of Grayson County High School and a 2001 graduate of Murray State University.

The wedding will be at 1:30 p.m. April 24, 2004 at Saint Joseph Catholic Church at 109 West Walnut Street in Leitchfield. Only out-of-town invitations will be sent. All friends and relatives are invited to attend. A reception will immediately follow at Centre on Main.
