I can't afford to advertise comments in the newspapers, but I think we should write to our representatives in Washington, D.C. and ask them to outlaw all play guns and knives for children.
They have no business with such toys. A child was pointing a big toy gun at me yesterday when I was shopping in Leitchfield. I'm writing to my state and national representatives. -- Mary Wethington, Leitchfield
