Tourism Commissioner Chuck Tempfer, who is also business manager at the park, reported the second-year event has drawn 35 entries this year.
"We have received some nice compliments from the people who have come to see it," he said.
Tempfer paid compliments to work crews from Meade County RECC and from Grayson County who helped get the displays ready.
Executive Director Ilsa Johnson said the trophy which will be awarded this year for the best display has already been ordered and is just waiting to be engraved with the winner.
Judging will be done this weekend, she said.
Johnson reported the commission had received its annual allocation of funds from the Lincoln Trail Development District. The grant is split three ways between the commission, Pine Knob Theater and the annual Fiddlin' Contest. This year each entity will receive $795.68.
Johnson provided the commission with a calendar of days showing when volunteers will be needed to man the upcoming trade shows. The Cincinnati Boat Show has been fully covered, but volunteers are still needed for the Louisville (Jan. 24 to Feb. 1) and Indianapolis (Feb. 20 to 29) events.
