After a little more than two minutes of play, the Lady Cougars had built an 11-0 lead and it became obvious it would be Grayson County that would be victorious. They went on to a 42-13 win.
With starting guard Tiffany Brooks scoring seven of her game-high 14 points in the first period, the Lady Cougars built a 17-1 lead and were never in danger afterward. They led 25-6 at the half.
