Keith Allen Grant, 29 of Leitchfield, was stabbed to death in Shively early Wednesday morning, Oct. 8.

According to Shively Police Chief Ralph Miller, officers were responding to a call at 2304 Thurman Drive around 2:19 a.m., when they found Grant coming across the intersection of Thurman and Burel drives.

Miller said Grant asked for medical attention and EMS was called. Grant was transported to University of Louisville Hospital where he was pronounced dead at 3 a.m. by Jefferson County Coroner Jim Wesley.

Wesley said the autopsy report blamed the death on stab wounds.

Miller says an investigation is continuing and several people in the area are being questioned.

No charges had been filed as of press time Friday afternoon. The Shively Police and the Louisville Commonwealth Attorney' are investigating.
