Please print the following retraction regarding my letter to the editor printed in the Monday, August 10 edition:

Regarding the "Letter to the Editor" on my opinion of animal treatment, I wish to clarify the following:

Stray animals found in the county are not transported to Butler County following euthanasia by the county dog warden but transported live then euthanized at the Butler County disposal site. I apologize to the Judge/Executive, county magistrates, and county dog warden for my error.
