Her mom also teaches and Dennison used to visit her class and help in the afternoons through college.
She attended WKU and switched from nursing to teaching three years ago.
Dennison is excited about her first class of students. She says, "They are so excited and eager to learn! It's a great experience!"
She spent a lot of time getting her room ready and preparing herself for this year.
Dennison believes in "practice makes perfect." Currently she and her students are practicing the basic rules of school every morning and afternoon.
