Members of the Carrollton Police Department found Tharp at a friend's house on Mason Street at approximately 2:21 a.m. Tharp was arrested and then lodged in the Carroll County Jail on a $5,000 full cash bond before being returned to Grayson County on Aug. 4.
Tharp was charged with escape in the second degree and breaking a contract -- walk off.
