  • Wednesday, April 16 around 11 a.m. Clarkson Fire Department, Grayson County Sheriff's Office and Grayson County EMS were called to a wreck with injuries on the east bound lane of the Wendell H. Ford Parkway at the 117 mile marker. The accident involved a Chevy Silverado and a deer. Deputy Mike Woosley reported the Chevy was driven by Melody Hall of Leitchfield. Hall and her passenger, Mary M. Culp, were transported to Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center.

  • Grayson County Sheriff's Deputy Mike Woosley responded to an accident on Highway 62 Wednesday, April 16. According to Woosley, Sharon Johnston, 31 of Leitchfield, was eastbound on Beaver Dam Road taking her daughter to a doctor's appointment when another vehicle driven by Lucille Taylor pulled out in front of her. Johnston took the ditch to avoid the vehicle. Woosley was called to the scene. Johnston continued on to the appointment with her daughter. The vehicle suffered slight damage, according to Woosley.
