Grayson County Sheriff's Deputy Sonny Poteet responded to a two-vehicle accident on the Wendell H. Ford Parkway April 8 around 4:30 p.m.

According to Poteet, Janice Lawarence was traveling east in a Ford Ranger when she lost consciousness for several seconds, causing the Ranger to spin across the roadway and stop at a guard rail. Jessica Logsdon, also traveling east, was unable to avoid hitting the truck with her car. Logsdon was momentarily trapped, but Clarkson Fire Depament was able to "roll up" the dash to release her.

Grayson County EMS transported Lawarence to Twin Lakes.
