Simon wins race for Sheriff

With a 53% turnout voters in Grayson County generated surprising results for some of the candidates. David Simon defeated incumbent Joe Brad Hudson in the race for the Grayson County Sheriff. Shan Embry defeated Don Cottrell in a tight race for District Judge-Divison II with Meade County deciding the winner. Gary Logsdon defeated Qulin Escue for the Grayson County Judge Executive seat. Carletta Farris will be the new Grayson County Court Clerk defeating Romie Dale Woosley. Bonnie Henderson won the race for mayor in Clarkson.
