Bear Creek to have fireworks show

BEAR CREEK -- Bear Creek Motorsports Park is presenting a July 6 mudrace with a fireworks show immediately following.

The mudrace will start at 7 pm and should end somewhere around 9pm or 10pm.

The cost to enter the mudrace is $6.00 for adults and $3.00 for kids 12 and under. 3 and under will be admitted for no charge.

After 9pm though, the gates will be open to the public for no admission costs.

So everyone wanting to see a great mudrace and a spectacular fireworks show is invited to attend Bear Creek Motorsports Mud Run on Saturday night, July 6.

Bear Creek Motorsports Park also has aother line of scheduled events.

This Saturday, June 29, Bear Creek is having a Demolition Derby.

The next Saturday, July 6 weekend, will be the fireworks mudrace show.

The weekend of July 20, two weeks later, there will be another Demolition Derby.

The park will continue to have mud racing and derby's at intervals of every two weeks.

The motorsports park has a 4cyl., 6cyl., and 8cyl. Bone Stock classes.

The mud runs also feature a street legal class, pro stock class, monster class, and a wide open class.

Money and trophies are presented for each race division.

Bear Creek Motorsports Park is located off of HWY. 259, approximately 3 miles south of Leitchfield. Turn onto Bear Creek Rd., go 1 mile and turn right.
