Jane Austin Brown, 41, of Caneyville, died on Tuesday, April 9, 2002 at the Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown.

She was born on August 26, 1960 as the daughter of Austin and Betty Hultz Wooden.

She was a retired Human Resource manager, an Honorary Kentucky Colonel, a Reach to Recovery Volunteer and a member of the Caneyville Christian Church.

She was preceded in death by her father, Austin Wooden.

She is survived by her husband, Carl Brown of Caneyville; one son, Clinton Glasscock of Bowling Green; her mother, Betty Wooden of Leitchfield; two half-brothers, Arthur Ray Wooden of LaGrange and Rob Wooden of Lexington; two half-sisters, Chandra Solis of Florida and Brandy Wooden of Elizabethtown.

Funeral services were on Thursday, April 11, 2002 at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield with Bro. David Brown officiating.

Burial was in the Clarkson Cemetery.
