FRANKFORT -- An improvement project at the Caneyville interchange with Western Kentucky Parkway is under construction. "This project will provide lighting at the interchange," said State Senator Richie Sanders (R-Franklin) today.

The Senator went on to say, "I am proud to be able to announce that this project is moving forward. I've been involved with this improvement effort for quite some time." Senator Sanders concluded "this is a $350,000 improvement project that will really enhance the exchange and the immediate area surrounding it."

Currently, construction crews are in the process of making the improvements. The work should be completed soon.

Sanders represents the 9th Senatorial District which includes Allen, Barren, Edmonson, Green, Metcalfe and Simpson Counties. Sanders previously represented Grayson County when he served in the State House of Representatives.
