Jean Deweese Robinson, age 84, of Leitchfield, passed away Tuesday, March 29, 2011, at the Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown.

She was born on September 26, 1926, in Viper, Ky., the daughter of the late Lee Owen and Melissa Pratt Jobe. She was a retired computer tech for Kentucky Farm Bureau, a former member of Grayson County Homemakers and the Hospital Auxiliary and was a member of the Leitchfield First Baptist Church.

She is survived by two sons, Robert “Bob” Deweese (Joanne), of Leitchfield, and Walter Thomas Deweese (Beth) of Nashville, Tn.; one daughter, Norma Sue Deweese, of Louisville; one sister, Sue Ann Miller, of Leitchfield; seven grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and seven step great-grandchildren.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Isaac Thomas Deweese and Charlie Robinson, and one daughter, Robin Card.

Funeral services were held Thursday, March 31, 2011, at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield, with Bro. Billy Carter officiating. Burial was in the Fairview Cemetery.
