Charles was a construction laborer and farmer.
He was the son of the late Raymond and Rosie Mercer Decker and was married to Faye Decker.
Charles is survived by his spouse, Faye, one son, Bobby Glen Decker, two daughters, Betty Ann King and Ruth Alice Decker, two brothers, Everett Decker and Jimmy Saltsman and three sisters, Mabel McStoots, Lulu Clements and Clorene Decker.
He is also survived by seven grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, two great-great-Grandchildren, three step-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Sherman Decker, one grand-daughter, Donnetta Linch and one great-granddaughter, Ella Renee Whitehead.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, February 2, 2011, at the Watkins-Oller Funeral Home with Brother Earl Lee Day officiating. Interment will be in the Bill Newton Cemetery
Visitation will continue on Wednesday from 9 a.m. until the time of service.
