Bernice Taul. age 76 of Harned, died Tuesday, January 25, 2011, at Breckinridge Memorial Hospital.

She was born in Breckinridge County on January 3, 1935, the daughter of the late Milton and Lucy Catherine Bland Hinton. She was the retired owner of Galante Studio, a member of New Clover Creek Baptist Church, Hardinsburg chapter # 448 of Order of Eastern Star, UMW Westview charge and the Red Hat Society. She enjoyed sewing, camping, traveling and working puzzles.

She was preceded in death by her grandson, Charles Homer Taul, III, her great-grandson, Brian Lee Harned, three brothers, James Cyril "Bud" Hinton, Denver Leo Hinton and Thomas Gilbert Hinton, and two sisters, Mary Susan Keifer and Martha Ann Hinton

Bernice is survived by her husband Charlie Taul of Harned, six children, Sue Kiper (Donnie) and Annette Flores, both of Kingswood, Chuck Taul (Cheryl) of Westview, Debbie Farley (Scott), of Crestwood, Tracy Wilson of Elizabethtown, Jamie Taul (Donna), of Stamping Ground, two brothers, Bill Hinton, of Kirk, and Joe Hinton, of Louisville, one sister: Louise Roach, of Hardinsburg.

She is also survived by 16 grandchildren: Doni Carroll O'Donoghue (Brian), Sheradan Smiley (Larry), Jesse and Jessica Kiper, Bradley Scott and Jon David Dowell, Jenny Ford (Jeffrey), Mike Harned (Jessica), Scott Harned (Dana), George Daniel, Harrison Cole, Joseph, Dylan and Justin Taul, Chelsea Catherine Farley and Dakota "Cody" Wilson; 15 great-grandchildren: Eamon and Nyah O'Donoghue, Alex, Caleb, Braydon, Darrison, Gavin and Emma Grace Dowell, Caleb Mattingly, Brooke and Ethan Ford, Jared and Delaney Harned, Chris and Karlie Gardner., and her extended family: Tom and Tommie Priest, Charmaine and Tommy Mattingly, Terry Bruce and Myrna Priest

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 29, 2011 at 1PM at New Clover Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Joey Harness, Bro. Mac Sosh and Bro. Murray Stevenson, Jr. officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Visitation on Friday from 3:30- 8:00PM at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home and Saturday after 10AM at the church.
