She was a Butler County native, daughter of the late Charles B. Denton Embry and Nellie Beasley Embry and wife of the late Hilrie Pharris.
She was a 75 year member of Oak Ridge General Baptist Church and retired from Kellwood. Preceded in death by 2 sons Gerald and Garry Pharris;daughter Peggy Tucker; grandson Shane Pharris; granddaughter Mandy Pharrisand daughter in law Joyce Pharris.
Littie Evelyn Pharris is survived by one daughter Gloria Clark (Richard) of Morgantown, Ky; three sons Ronald H. Pharris (Peanut) of Leitchfield, Steve Joe Pharris (Ava) of Owensboro and Freddy Thomas Pharris (Kathy) Little Ben, 19 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; sister in law Minnie Beasley Morgantown; daughter in law Oveda Pharris Morgantown. and son in law Mike Tucker of Morgantown, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at the Oak Ridge Baptist Church Wednesday Jan 12, 1at 1:00pm with Bro. Gary Embry and Bro. Steve Joe Pharris officiating. Burial was in the Oak Ridge Cemetery. Visitation Tuesday Jan. 11, 4 p.m. - 8 p.m. at the Jones Funeral Chapel and Wed. 9 a.m. until funeral time Oak Ridge General Baptist Church.
