She was born on December 17, 1945, in Grayson County, the daughter of the late Albert Teddy and Elizabeth Cline Carnes. She was a housewife.
She is survived by her husband, Charles Homer Lindsey; three sons, Doyle Wayne (Melissa), of Marysville, Oh., Douglas Lynn (Rebecca), of Caneyville and Dustin Earl (Janet) Lindsey, of Millwood; one daughter, Margie Stewart (David), of Rosine; a loving niece, Sandy Gibson; seven grandchildren, Nicole, Nicholos, Brandon, Carolyn, and Dakoda Lindsey, Fatisha Guadarrama and Willard Stewart; seven great-grandchildren, Dylan Stewart, Mellany and Mercedes Reed, Aarika and Atlanta Ramirez, Mario and Diego Guadarrama.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters, Jimmy and George Henry Carnes, Mary Ellen Mattingly and Edna Jo Carnes.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, January 4, 2011, at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield, with Bro. Jack Cockriel officiating. Burial wasin the Hopewell Cemetery.
