General Manager/Advertising Manager
Theresa Armstrong is the General Manager of The Grayson County News- Gazette. She is available to assist with any advertising needs as well as any issue involving the running of the paper. Theresa began her career at the Grayson County News-Gazette in September 2006 as a reporter covering local news and feature stories. She is best known around the community for weekly columns about life on the farm. After growing up in the Florida Keys she found life to be very different on a farm and sharing those stories with the community was part of the job she enjoyed. She transferred to the advertising department in the fall of 2011 as an advertising consultant. Prior to coming to the paper she sold real estate for a local agency. She has been a resident of Grayson County since the summer of 2004, coming from South Carolina. Theresa graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Creative Writing in May of 2001. Bob Decker joined The News-Gazette in October as an advertising sales representative. Decker is a lifelong resident of Grayson County. A 1995 graduate of Grayson County High School, he grew up in Clarkson, where he currently lives with his wife, Melissa, and identical twin sons, Samuel and Benjamin. Customer Service Representative
Adrian Sanders joined The News-Gazette in August, 2013 to handle circulation and classified ads. She is a lifelong resident of Grayson County, Kentucky, a 2012 graduate of Grayson County High School, she currently lives in Clarkson with her family. She also attends both Elizabethtown Community and Technical College and Bowling Green Community and Technical College and is working on her Associate’s Degree in Arts. Her major is Journalism. Brittany Wise began reporting for The Grayson County News-Gazette in July 2011. In addition to covering a wide variety of news beats, she serves as our Newspapers In Education Coordinator, spending time in local classrooms throughout the school year. Brittany is excited to be the sponsor of H. W. Wilkey Elementary School's new Journalism Club, which will give students a first-hand look at the news as it effects them. Brittany is a Taylor County native who has enjoyed living in Grayson County for over a decade. She currently resides in Leitchfield with her daughter and two sons.
Matt Lasley joined the staff The Grayson County News-Gazette in February 2013 as a reporter. He is a life-long resident of Grayson County. After graduating from Grayson County High School in 2008, he attended Brescia University. In 2012, he earned his Bachelor's Degree in English: Emphasis in Professional Writing. Don Brown began his career at the Grayson County News-Gazette in 1994 covering feature stories and hard news. In following his passion, he eventually transitioned to the sports section. He tirelessly and enthusiastically covers local sports and ensures that the athletes in our area get the recognition they deserve. Brown is a California native but came to Grayson County nearly two decades ago. In addition to his sports coverage, Brown is responsible for the Datebook and Church pages of the newspaper.
