Cougars drop two at Glasgow
The Cougar basketball team found it tough sledding on Wednesday at Glasgow as they dropped a pair of games. In the first game, Monroe County closed out the first half with 16 straight points to take a 15-point lead, but the Cougars fought back in the second half. Summer basketball continued for the Lady Cougars as they played games at Breckinridge County last week, and at Apollo starting on Monday. Decker named conference Freshman of the Year
Former GCHS softball standout, Victoria Decker, has been named Mid-South Conference Freshman of the Year. In her first season at Campbellsville University, Decker posted an 18-6 record as the Lady Tiger’s ace pitcher. She started 24 games and appeared in three others, posting an ERA of 2.04.
