Two tractor-trailers caught fire in the parking lot of Big Clifty Feed Mill at 4 a.m. on Easter morning, according to Grayson County Sheriff Rick Clemons.
Dispatch received a call from a passerby about the fire at the 9600 block of Elizabethtown Road in Big Clifty, Clemons said.
The East Grayson County Fire Department responded, along with Clemons, who said both tractors were fully engulfed in flames.
“There was basically nothing left [of the tractors],” Clemons said.
Clemons reported that the trailers had cargo, but no damage was done to either of the trailers.
The tractor-trailers were a 2005 Peterbilt, owned by Escue’s Wood Preserving, and a 1998 Freight Liner, owned by Lonnie D. Howard, according to Clemons.
Both trucks were reported as having been parked in the parking lot over night, Clemons said.
The fire is still currently under investigation, Clemons said.
