The Leitchfield Fire Department responded to a truck that caught fire on the William H. Thomason Byway at around 3:10 p.m. on Thursday, May 9.
None of the truck’s passengers reported injuries, according the Leitchfield Police Department, who also responded to the fire.
The LPD said the driver of the truck reported pulling out of Wal-Mart and seeing smoke.
Upon seeing the smoke, the driver pulled over to exit the truck before it caught fire, the LPD said.
A responding Leitchfield firefighter received a cut above his eye and was treated by Grayson County Emergency Medical Services, according to 2nd Assistant Fire Chief Tony King.
