A domestic incident took a violent turn on Tuesday afternoon, June 26, resulting in one man being flown to University of Louisville Hospital and one woman being taken by ambulance to Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center.
The Grayson County Sheriff’s Department responded to a residence on Meredith Ridge Road at approximately 1:30 p.m., and found Stanley Decker, Jr. suffering from stab wounds.
Decker was taken by air to U of L Hospital for treatment, and was released on Thursday.
Christy Decker was treated at the scene by Grayson County EMS and taken to TLRMC for treatment of several head injuries, according to Sheriff Rick Clemons.
An investigation is ongoing into the double assault incident.
