LaVerne Tucker Gregory, age 81 of Madrid, KY died Saturday, December 22, 2012 at Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center in Leitchfield.
She was born in Breckinridge County, on May 12, 1931, the daughter of the late Elmer and Mary Graham Tucker.
LaVerne was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking and flower gardening, a member and former pianist with Madrid Pentecostal Church.
She is survived by her husband, Homer Joseph “Joe” Gregory, of Madrid; a son, David Gregory and his wife Patricia, of Constantine; a granddaughter, Amanda Jo Fentress and her husband Brent, of Hardinsburg.
Funeral services will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Saturday, December 29, 2012 at 1 p.m. with Bro. Billy Laslie and Bro. Jimmy Tucker officiating. Burial will be in the Hudson Cemetery.
Visitation on Friday, December 28, 2012 from 3:30 - 8 p.m. and after 8:30 a.m. on Saturday.
